Welcome to Waking Dreams Retreat, our little half acre in West Asheville. Our home is perched on a small hill with a beautiful view looking out toward Mt. Spivey. The downtown sections of both Asheville and West Asheville are only minutes away by automobile. My name is Laurie. My husband's name is Wayne. My phone number is 828-713-XXXX. We are located just a mile and a half northwest of the intersection of Patton Rd and Haywood Rd/Johnston Rd. We live on the first floor of our country home with Jaetu, our goldendoodle puppy. Our pet-friendly property is quiet and peaceful with front porch, back deck, fenced backyard and on-site parking.The upstairs Studio has both an outside and an inside entrance. It is fully furnished and rents for $60 a night with a $10-a-night discount for stays of ten days or more. It has a comfy queen bed and also a futon that pulls out into a nice single bed. The bathroom is private with a large shower. The kitchenette has a full-size refrigerator, blender, two hot plates, an electric fry pan, microwave, toaster and convection oven.The upstairs Retreat has an inside entrance. It is fully furnished and rents for $50 a night with a $10-a -night discount for stays of ten days or more. It has a comfy queen bed. The bathroom is private with a big bathtub. The kitchenette has refrigerator, blender, coffeemaker, hot plate, toaster, convection oven and microwave.The downstairs Guest has an inside entrance. It is fully furnished and rents for $40 a night with a $10-a-night discount for stays of ten days or more. It has a comfy full bed. The shared bath is next to the room. (We keep it clean and uncluttered so guests are given totes in which to carry their toiletry items to and from the bath.) The kitchenette has refrigerator, coffeemaker, hot plate, toaster and microwave.The prices listed above are for one or two people. This includes all utilities plus use of wireless high-speed internet, phone, washer/dryer, front and back porches, and on-site parking. Pets and extra people are $5 each a night. A security deposit is required. The amount varies depending on people and pets plus the length of your stay. Your deposit is fully refundable--after your departure when your room has been cleaned--provided that you leave your space and its contents in good condition. (The security deposit also serves as cancellation insurance for us in case you change your plans and it's too late for us to fill your spot.) Housekeeping is provided upon request during your stay for $10 a cleaning. And although we do not have TV reception, we do have lots of movies for you to borrow.It is our goal to provide a safe and supportive environment for you during your stay while at the same time respecting your individual uniqueness and privacy.
